Megan Leigh (born Michelle Maira Schei on March 2, 1964 in Oakland, California; committed suicide June 16, 1990 in Solano, California) was an American erotic dancer and pornographic film star.

A wild child, she ran away from home for the first time at age 14. By age 18 she was working as a stripper at the Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theatre in San Francisco. A passably pretty bleach blonde with a bad figure and little dancing talent, she nevertheless became a popular O'Farrell stripper named "Eve" and made a few thousand per month in tips (which she spent mainly on drugs). In late 1986 she underwent a makeover (detoxification and cosmetic surgery) and reemerged as Megan Leigh, porn star. In 1987 she starred in Secrets Behind the Green Door (see Behind the Green Door with Marilyn Chambers). She came to be known for her ability to easily deep throat her partners, getting a starring role in 1989's Deep Throat III.
The porn world was shocked (but probably not surprised) when her body was discovered on June 16, 1990 of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. In addition, as per former porn performer and message board contributor Brandy Alexandre, an autopsy discovered a lethal dose of Valium in her system. According to porn historians, including Luke Ford, Leigh had recently entered a lesbian relationship, and had moved in with her girlfriend, when her family reportedly denounced her for her decision to become a lesbian. Reports claim that she had become despondent by her family's rejection of her, and had been abusing drugs prior to her suicide. She left behind a note discussing personal problems, a body of work numbering 133 titles, and a $500,000 (USD) house that Leigh purchased for her mother just one month prior.
